Prices keep going up

I don't know about you, but it seems like the price of goods are following the price of gas... they're going up. We saw inflation in the late 1970's and it is ugly. There are no winners. Instead there is a chase of spiraling prices which lead to more... spiraling pricing. Part of the issue is the devaluation of the dollar. It does help make whatever American businesses are left, to be more competitive. But it also raises the prices of our imports. And that includes gasoline. What next? Chinese imports going up? Wait and see. The real losers in this game are poor people in third world countries. They can't afford higher priced food. And if they can't grow their own food, there could be starvation at hand.
